Italian ready meals
Innovation is one of our key values. We're always looking for new and better alternatives, so we were delighted with this material - foamed CPET Plastic. It won the WRAP 2006 award for innovative technology and we now use it in all our Italian ready meals.
What's so good about it? Well, it reduces the weight of every pack by 20%. So far, we've managed to save over 150 tonnes of material by using it.
It's got the added benefit of being cool to touch when taken out of the oven.
