Make recycling part of your daily routine

Guide to recycling

How you recycle will depend a lot on where you live, what you buy and where you buy it from. Different materials are recycled in different ways, and some can't be recycled at all. To help you make recycling part of your daily routine we've put together this guide to explain what it all means.

The first thing to do is have a look at what it is you're getting rid of - is it recyclable? That's what the WRAP symbols on the back of our packaging tell you, so click here to read more about each one.

You might like to find out exactly what material the packaging is made of - most people understand paper, plastic and tin, but with so many advances in science we can adapt all sorts of materials these days, often to improve their recyclability. Click here for a complete A-Z guide.

Finally, you need to know where you can find the right facilities. Will your council come and pick up all your recyclable household stuff, or just some of it? Click here to find out more about where and how to recycle.
