Cheshire Oaks Eco Store
M&S Cheshire Oaks is the largest store we’ve ever built and it’s also one of the largest sustainable retail stores in the world. Designed to be the most carbon efficient premier store to date, it takes a holistic approach into key sustainability factors such as water, carbon, biodiversity, the community, materials and zero waste to landfill. It’s the third in a series of eco stores, following Ecclesall Road and Stratford City. It has achieved a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating which is the leading and most widely used assessment method.
It's also brought employment opportunities to the area, many of them through our Marks & Start programme, which helps disadvantaged groups into the workplace. And of course, it brings our customers in Cheshire all our latest ranges, stylish homeware and award-winning food and drink.
