Woodland Trust

Help us turn your Christmas cards into trees!

For every 1,000 Christmas cards you bring into our stores for recycling, we’ve pledged to plant one tree with the Woodland Trust. Last year, you brought in just over 10 million cards - so if we manage that again this year, around 10,000 trees will be planted!

As well as contributing to the planting, you can help choose where in the country these trees will grow, by taking part in the voting below. There are 7 different regions to choose from, so you can pick a part of country that means most to you.

The voting closes at midnight on the 31 January 2012. Once the results have been added up, the Woodland Trust will make sure trees are planted across the UK, in proportion to the way you've voted (so if 20% of you vote for the Midlands, 20% of the trees will be planted there).

Don't forget to bring in your cards into M&S for recycling!
