Christmas Elf Lunch

Give a little hope this Christmas

This time of year can be especially hard for the thousands of children and their families who may be homeless or risk losing their home this Christmas. Since 2005, we've been helping the housing and homelessness charity Shelter to raise funds for the vital work that they do, by donating money from the sales of special ranges of Christmas cards and foods.

This year, we're delighted to be helping Shelter launch the Christmas Elf Lunch website – a fun, easy way for you to make a difference and treat your friends or colleagues at the same time.

Becoming a Shelter elf is easy.

Just visit shelterelf.org.uk, choose which elf you'd like to be and send your own elf-themed invite to everyone you'd like to be at your lunch. They then choose their M&S sandwiches, drinks and sweet treats from the Christmas range, which includes the ultimate turkey sandwich, hot smoked-salmon sandwich with horseradish dressing and a rich Christmas cheesecake. All you need to do is print off the shopping list and visit your nearest store to buy them.

The best bit is that, from every item you buy from the Christmas range, we'll donate 5p to Shelter's Housing Advice Helpline, which will help an estimated 11,000 people who find themselves in need of support and advice over the festive season*.

*5p goes to Shelter in England, Scotland and Wales, and Housing Rights Service in Northern Ireland. 5c goes to Focus Ireland in the Republic of Ireland AND Housing Rights Service in Northern Ireland. Registered charity in England and Wales (263710) and Scotland (SC002327).
