Our Partners
Some of the issues outlined in our commitments are too large to be tackled by consumers, businesses and even governments alone; that's why building strong partnerships is at the heart of M&S. We have linked up with some key partners to share knowledge, develop solutions and support causes which our customers and employees care about.
For example, WWF is helping us to address environmental issues associated with sourcing fish, cotton and wood, and we are helping them to fund fish conservation and help protect the orang-utan in the Heart of Borneo; Oxfam has helped us with our Shwopping initiative, whilst also raising money for their vital work. We have also worked with a range of partners for eight years to run our Marks & Start work experience programme for disadvantaged groups which has helped over 5,000 people try and get back into work in the UK.
Royal British Legion
We’ve been supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal to help the armed forces.
Shelter
We've been working with the housing and homelessness charity Shelter since 2005.
Macmillan Cancer Support
We're helping to raise funds for the Macmillan Support Line.
Newlife
We’ve been working with Newlife to help improve the lives of disabled children across the UK.
Oxfam
